FURNISHING FOR THE PROJECT

In order of successful exercise of the project “Strengthening of Municipal capacity to improve the quality of life for socially vulnerable groups” from program Exchange 3, for work purposes of mobile teams and gathering of citizens, in village Gabrovac, adapted the premises of old mill. City Municipality of Palilula provided painting of the space, and necessary inventory – tables and chairs. During visit of the village and conversation with members of Citizen`s Council with management of municipality it is agreed that for needs of this space and quality work of mobile teams of the project on the ground, which includes medical assistance of vulnerable categories of citizens, measuring blood pressure and blood sugar level, providing medical advisory assistance, psycho – social assistance and support, legal assistance, provide and carpeting the floor space. Municipal mobile team of Palilula achieved and this request. According to Prof. Dr Igor Novakovic, president of Palilula Municipality, adapted premises as and space of Local Offices in other settlements of Municipality, thanks to this project, became a small branch outlets and advisory centers of Municipal Administration. It is satisfaction that we can be closer to our citizens and to contribute to improving the quality of life of all categories of citizens. Village Gabrovac has over 1700 residents and from this point is 400 pensioners. Large number of working – age population is in the process of privatization was fired.
